Yarra Valley Shiraz
Wine
The Wanderer Yarra Valley Shiraz originates from a single site at Dixons Creek at the northern end of the Yarra Valley, located on an eastern aspect at 160 metres elevation.
Most of the grapes are destemmed with around 10% included as whole bunches. After cold soaking, the fruit is fermented in hand plunged open fermenters. The wine is sent to oak to mature for 10 months.
Inky garnet, The Wanderer Yarra Valley Shiraz is a spicy, medium bodied cool climate wine with fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
